Bullitt gas door

I bought a Bullitt gas door for my King Ranch but it's going to take some doing to get it to work. I've seen them on supercrews. Has anyone done this?

Any advice would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Shawn

KR72,

First and foremost, welcome to f150online.com! We're very glad to have you aboard.

I'm not sure that I can answer your question but, as I recall, one of our KROC members (dufunnel)does have a billet gas door and you may be able to get some information from him.

If you're unable to obtain information, you may try posting the same question in the SUPERCREW forum as I know there are several folks that have done this mod which frequent that forum.

Best of luck and, again, welcome aboard!

RP

The reason I opted against the Mustang Bullitt door was because it was not easy to install. I went with the Lincoln Blackwood door, which also matched my chrome better than a brushed look. The Blackwood one was as easy as taking two screws off the original and putting the new ones in. 5 minutes tops. Sorry, but I can't help with the Bullitt one.

I took defunnel's advice and bought a Blackwood door.

Easy as two screws and it's a done deal. Nice shiny chrome too.
