Spot on seats

So....I bought my new King Ranch F250 last week, and like a moron, I didn't inspect the back seat well enough. There's a spot on one of the seats that's about the size of a golf ball. It's extremely pale in comparison to the normal seat color and then it darkens at the edges to the point where the edges are darker than the normal seat color. In other words, you can REALLY see it.

Are there any recommendations for fixing this? At least....making it less noticable?

I guess I'll order some of that King Ranch conditioner.....seeing as there is only one seat color, does that conditioner have any color to it?

If it is really noticeable YOU don't have to fix it.

Take it back to the dealer and they can order a new cover for the seat.

You shouldn't have to try to sort it yourself.

If they are "funny" about it and remotely suggest that it might be something you have done then it says more about the dealer than anything else.

I doubt they will be like that though and you will end up with a truck that is as good as it should be !!

Good luck !

I agree with Lenny on this one... you don't have to fix it and if you try, they could have a much stronger case to say that you did it rather than it being there when you got it.

Just a thought...

That king ranch leather conditioner works wonders. Every time I get a rub mark or discoloration on my seats, using the conditioner makes them look like new every time.

Definately go back to the dealer first. If that doesn't work, then try the cleaner and conditioner route.

I agree, take it to the dealer first and see what they say.
