Skagel, Nice to hear from you and sounds as though you've been busy. While I'm not of the "old crew" I have greatly enjoyed watching the chit chat twixt you and the rest of the crew, welcome back (Charcoal IS the best but we just won't go there )... and BTW of course RP still has "the envy" but there are some rumblings about an F250.... hmmmm

Not familiar with TX but here are a few links that might be of interest (keeping in mind I'm a techie type)

http://seeker.dice.com/seeker.epl?rel_code=1102&op=6

Link 2

Link 3 Link 4 (last one)

Sorry the first link got hosed (so much for the techies ). there was an interesting looking financial analyst post from Titan Corp on DICE though.

Hi Sarah,

Nice to hear from you after so long.

We will be back in Houston on 23rd March to pick up the truck.....not the KR though.

I voted myself to the position of formal tester for the 2004 F150 to ensure that when the new KR comes along that it will meet everyone's demands.

Looking good so far !!!

Whereabouts in Houston ?

We always stay around Gunspoint (Greenspoint) until we pick up the truck on Westheimer then head down the SW Freeway to the RGV.

Hey Sarah,

Glad to see you're among the living and that you haven't totally abandoned us...

RP with 4X4 envy... yep. Among other envies. LOL!

I've got my eyes focused on something new for 2005 and it'll be 4X4 so that I can get over the hump with that issue in my life.

Again though, glad to see you're around and well. Swing in more often!! We were begining to think that you didn't like Lenny anymore because of his impersonations of Merriam-Webster with you too many times......

Who, what, where, when ??

(Didn't you mean the Oxford English Dictionary, Old boy !?)

I was about to say how impressed I was with Sarah's post regarding spelling , grammar, syntax etc.

Then she ****s it all up with the following !!!!

I will soon be following my truck on March 13, 2003. Steve got himself a great job out in Houston after years of being a slave at Ford...so he no longer works for Ford...hence no more X-plan for me.
I know it's leap year but that's ridiculous !

Oh my word !!!!!

You lot really are living in the dark ages regarding censorship.....all that hoohaa with Janet J.

Now I can't use the 4 letter word that is the masculine of hen !!!

And before anyone reacts badly I am as prudish as anyone about moral decline and the degradation of our language, with every sentence made up of the same 5 or 6 words, mainly including....
"Like" ....as in "It was like Wednesday" (So you mean Thursday then !)
"Oh my God!" (Most people who say that haven't got a God!)
and my real pet hate...

"Oh REALLY !!

(Mainly said because they can't think of anything for a reply)

So when I wanted to say C*c* up !
It's a common or garden phrase to denote a silly mistake.

We even have a TV program about *o*k ups !!!

Welcome to Texas - the best Republic in the northern hemisphere! If you are passing through the Dallas area and need info on places to eat, drink, etc, just give me a shout. My wife and I have done B&B's all around the area and love to share info about the good ones and other trivial stuff.

Hey.....
Didn't read the book (Was there one?)
Didn't see the film (Did they make one?)
Didn't ***** the leading actress (She was too ugly)

BUT......I HAVE GOT THE TEE SHIRT.

"Good Grief....Where is Oak Leaf !"

SO.....as we will have a few days to spare when we arrive in Tx. thought we would travel North out of Houston and visit Oak Leaf.

(It's not on any maps you know!)

I see there is a Best Western in Waxahachie (Don't you just love that name), so thought we would come up and terrorise the neighborhood by driving on the RIGHT side of the road etc. (Well actually it's the left, but it's the right side if you get my drift).
Unless you can recommend any decent B and B's and eateries in your area before we head back south to S.A.

Shoot me an E mail......(Presumably from Cut 'n shoot or Gun Barrel City...seriously folks....and let me in on any good places you know.)

In return I promise not to look you up and cause general discumknockeration.

Sarah, welcome to Texas. I am in the Dallas (Irving) area and yes no rust. I still do not drive the truck unless it is a nice, nice day and then just to a truck meet or to grocery store. Maybe now we can get a clan to plan a trip to the KR. I still have yet to go and really want to.

Congradulations RP on focusing in on a useful truck.

Lenny, we are currently in a corporate apartment on the NW side of town. I guess that is about it. 10 days and counting.
