Question Husky or Extreme Floor Mats? Post your picks please

Im looking to buy new mats to help deal with this wet winter weather. I'm torn between Husky & Extreme floor mats. I like the simple lines if the Extremes. But the Huskys look larger and will likely trap more moisture. Either way I'm going with tan to match the interior. What do you think?

Thanks,
Ron

I just ordered Nifty Premium mats from Summit. If I didn't go for the Premium series, the Extreme or the new XRacing series would be my next pick.

I've not seen either mat but going by the pics the Extreme looks better to me.

You can check prices at http://www.summitracing.com. (I think they carry Husky too.)They don't list their entire stock online. What I did is go to the http://www.niftyproducts.com website, get the part number I needed, then go to Summit and do a manufacturer search under Nifty and paste in the Nifty part number.

Mats were ordered for the wifes 2004 Escape from another place, cancelled that order, placed it with Summit and saved $40 on a full set plus $20-$30 on a set for my SuperCab.

Please dont get the butt ugly husky mats. Ive had the Extremes in my truck since day one, and my carpets still look brand new. In and out with snowy, muddy boots. Only complaint I have with them is the little "Extreme" plastic badge on them, they kept falling off, untill I super glued them on!!!

Well, I don't consider my Husky Liners "UGLY".... hmph...

Actually, I think they're the better choice over something that has fabric. My stand is cleaning. These things are functional and will get dirty as does every mat out there on the market. How much easier can it get than just pulling the mats of the truck (that are custom fit to mold to your floorboard), hosing them off with a hose, allowing them to dry, and reinstalling them.

For me, I wouldn't have it any other way and don't have any regrets about my 'ugly' mats.

HMFFF RP!!
Actually, the Extreme's are plastic, no fabric or carpet anywhere. They fit the contours better, the down side of this is the will not hold 2 gallons of liquid like the husky liners. They wil however be more then enough for usually spills, wet feet ect. I had a SUV with the Husky liners, they fit terrible. I kept flipping them up when I exited the vehicle, and they always seemed in the way. Maybe they fit better on the trucks? IMO there ugly so hmpffffff!!

hehehe... just giving you some grief there Haku...

I'm sure those 'other' liners are pretty good as well..

Noticed you were in MT... I'm out in the Anaconda area off and on at a jobsite... I wish I could bring my clubs out there to play that Nicklaus course more often... the Old Works is an AWESOME course. It kicked my butt the last time I played it...
