Our regional Ford rep recently indicated that there is a small chance we will see a King Ranch for '04 late in "Job 2" (which I recently found out is the second half on the production year), as well a possible Sirius satellite radio option.

It all depends if the 3rd party manufacturers (Visteon and Johnson Controls) that Ford farms out to can meet production schedules and design specs. Ford also has to re-tool the production line at the plant in MO, which is time consuming.

He indicated that the specialty branded trucks (King Ranch, Harley Davidson, Eddie Bauer, etc), unique to the Ford truck line, are big sellers and bring in good sales, so the sooner the better.

We can only hope it is sooner than later.

The King Ranch version of this new pickup will totally rock!!!
