For a second there I thought that was my truck. You sure have good taste!

I've just finished the acetone trick on the badges. For some reason I think it makes the badges look more massive.

I've thought about the black Ford emblems, and seeing them in action has convinced me. Now I have to decide if I have the intestinal fortitude to do it myself or just buy them.

I know it will be a tough job to make it even better, but I'm sure you'll have fun trying. Just make sure to keep an eye on your front center console and steering wheel. They get dirty real fast and it becomes impossible to restore them to their original glory.

Beautiful looking truck! I just don't get the new 04 style. I think the previous body style has much more style, especially in the box.

 

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. I put a sweet new black mirrored Ford plate on the front and got a Black and Silver Ford hitch cover for the hitch. Looks grand!

I'll have to hold off on the tonneau cover for a few months. Just put a brand new set of Michelin Cross Terrain SUV rubbers on my EB Expy this a.m. OUCH!

 

I had the cross-terrains on my old Exploder. WOW..what a great tire! And it was even better because I got them free because I had Firestones!

Nice truck dude!! Did you get it at Mullinax (Maroone) in Margate by chance?

I was there last week looking at '04 F150's and saw two black '03 4x4 King Ranch's (one was a styleside one a flareside) .... I was very tempted but neither had the sunroof (which I have become accustomed to here is South Florida with my '01 Eddie Expy) .... oh well ....

My Expy lease is up in May and I need to decide what truck I am going to get ... if I knew for sure that a 2005 F150 King Ranch was in the works, I would extend my lease another 6 months and wait for the '05 model year.

Anyways, I'm in West Broward (Sunrise) ... maybe I'll see ya on the road ....

 

Nobody knows for sure on the 2005 KR but, I've been told that it will happen. I can't disclose my source but, it's VERY reliable.

 

I haven't seen a black one yet.

Neighbors for sure. I'm in Sunrise as well. (Moving to the Acreage in April though). Chances are, if you see a Black KR out here, it'll be me (Black mirrored Ford plate on the front). Honk and wave!

And, yes, I did get her at Maroone in Margate. There were two black S'crews left and I drove them both. They must have added the styleside after November 1 (the day I bought it).
