New to this forum and my KR

Hello all,

I have a new (to me) '02 King Ranch Screw 4x4.

The wife and I were in the market for an '04 when we found this one. Because it is the 4x4 Screw it came with the 5.4, 3.55L and tow package. The previous owner was nice enough to add an ARE painted to match top and a Penda liner.

As best as I can figure, the truck came with every option but the moon roof and the rear entertainment center.

We traded our 1999 black regular cab-sb F-150 for this Estate green over Arizona green KR that only had 23k on the clock. So we made the trade and won't look back.

Will be hanging out here to catch up on the latest KR news.

Future plans include changing all the fluids and possibly an alignment. Any other suggestions?

Spray it Chestnut instead of Estate green ? !

Sorry 'bout that.
If I hadn't said it RP would have !

Only joking...it's a long standing friendly feud here about color choice !

Welcome to the KR forum anyway., and I am sure more suggestions will be forthcoming.

Some of them might even be decent !

KR-02,

Welcome to the group. I'm a newbie as well so I know how you are excited about taking care of your new baby. I suggest taking it to get totally detailed. This may cost about $100 but well worth it. During which I closely inspected the truck for problems and issues that are covered under warranty to get them handled ASAP. The earlier in, the better. It seems like as times goes on they get kind-of funny acting (so I hear). I found paint and interior problems I had Ford fix.

Well, again welcome to the group. I'm sure you will enjoy your truck as everyone on this site has.

I had told my wife that I had found this forum. I told her there was great debate about the colors and that chestnut was popular. My wife said that since most men are either color blind or shade deficient, all the colors were good choices. According to my wife, less than 8% of all men see true color.
