Exclamation Moment of truth

Alright, I've got an appointment tomorrow to go see the two remaining 2003 KR SC 4x4s in South Florida. Both of them are black. I wanted the chestnut. Price for each is $32,999.

I'm still so undecided. I wouldn't mind waiting for the 2004 KR but we just don't know if there is going to be one.

1 Do y'all think that is a good price?

2. Any thoughts, comments, advice regarding the black?

3. What KR goods come with the purchase of the vehicle?

Thanks in advance for any added input. I'm so undecided. My heart is saying buy it, but my brain is saying hold off. I'm an educated buyer, but can't lie and say that desire to have my first KR RIGHT SPANKIN' NOW is taking over!

Thumbs down Moment of Truth

I purchased my 2002 KR SC 5.4 4x2 (MSRP 32215. dealer advertised with every available option) in Aug. 2003 for $25,000, after $2,500 rebate and before tax and license.
Add approx. $3,000 for 4 wheel drive and $28,000 that's a good deal.
The dealer is definetley interested in unloading 2003 stock and is probably paying interest on the vehicle. The dealers will/are motivated to negotiate on a 2003!

Regards from a frugal SOB!
Francis

I can't disclose information sources but, I'm over 99% sure that we WILL NOT see it in 2004. We will, however, in 05.

Thanks, RP. That makes the decision a whole lot easier. I'll report back tomorrow.

Sounds like a good price to me.

As for the black there are several Zaino users here that can hook you up (RP has their emails) Although compared to Chestnut the black "Zaino'd" probably looks SHWEET...

I DID IT EVERYONE!

I'm proudly, officially, a King Ranch owner. 4x4, Super Crew, Black w/ tan. I absolutely love it. I'm in some serious debt for five years, but hey!

Pictures forthcoming. YEE-HAW!

Congrats Esquire. You're one of only a few here that have the Black KR. We look forward to seeing some pics!

Congrats on your purchase. I've only seen one black KR and that was on the highway travelling at 60mph. I'd love to see it in slow motion! Post some pics when you can.

You, your black KR and the carwash will become one, Grasshopper. Nothing prettier than a black KR (when it's clean). Congrats!
