Daveman and Rockpick in Louisville

Dave, his wife, and his son made a quick trip through Louisville on their way north to Illinois. Along the way, they made time to swing by and have dinner with my wife and I.

We decided at dinner that we were going to forward the bill on to Lenny as the bar tab exceeded $325 between the two of us and our meals (Filet Mignon) were slighly more than $170.

Here are a few pics. Sorry about the Expedition in the picture... oh yeah, and Dave was hogging all of the light ....

Pictured L-R: Daveman, Rockpick, RP's wife, DM's wife (also hidden in picture, DM's son)

Pictured L-R: Daveman's Eddie Bauer Expy (that he traded the KR in on), Rockpick's King Ranch (it's really not black, I swear)

Notice the short guy on the left?

Again, it was a pleasure to meet you and your family Dave. I hope to be able to make it down that way sometime and, when I do, rest assured that we'll let Lenny pay for dinner again!

It looks to me that Daveman is drinking 2 beers at time, Brad is drinking a coke, Daveman wife is drinking Miller Lite with A1 sauce (must be a southern thing), and Brad's wife is drinking ketchup.
Also, was a restaurant with an empty parking lot a requisite for your dinner plans?

LOL BD!

We all swung around to the back corner there so the waitress could snap the photo. My wife was on Coke patrol. All the rest of us were nursing beers. (I'll have to let Dave explain the A1 and Beer thing... weirdo South Carolinans).

The parking lot was empty due to someone running late getting to Louisville (no names here but I think you might know who). Let's just put it this way, we shut the restaurant down.

Don't mean to be snooping, and if it's none of my business, just say so. BUT, the only time I have known my wife to be on Coke patrol was:

1. She decided it was wise to have a designated driver for the evening. ( I know you find it hard to believe, but occasionally I have a few too many....)

2. She was in tea-totaling mode, and was off beer and drinks for a few years.

3. She was in the process of getting "us" pregnant, or was already.

Just some food for thought there RP ole' buddy! Better keep an eye on the

I respect a man that doesn't mince words. Direct and to the point!

But, you gotta admit, number three had you going there for a mili-second!

NO. That's what I used to say, Rockpick. I'm now the proud father of a 9 month old baby boy. Good luck in the Lamaze classes.

LOL! NO NO NO!

Anyway... Dave logs on, posts up in the Membership drive thread and totally overlooks this one and doesn't say a word. I'm so hurt. I think I'm going to go find the nearest bridge and bail.

Hi RockPick, I'm home now. After driving a total of 24 hours over four days and attending a wedding in Chicago and putting up with are we there yet for a million times, even with a DVD player, I easily overlooked this thread. After another 10 hours today, 8 hours driving, we finially arived at 8:30pm and we left Lexington KY at 10:30am.

Also, the dial up connections suck so bad that once I post in a thread I can't stand the slow response and I just log off as I hate to wait.

Everyone,

Beer and A1 is not a southern thing, I think that was RockPick's seat. My wife is already pregnant from me and Rock said he needed a little help in that department so I offered my services, she declined so I just gave Rock a few suggestions, A1 and beer

Later,

~DM~
