I have a used set I'd sell... They're in GREAT shape and came off of dufunnel's truck about a year ago. I never put them on.... just wasn't sure I liked the look with the 2wd.

I'm pretty sure I've got the majority of the mounting hardware for them... if not, the parts are 'off the shelf' at any car parts store (they're generally just plastic push plugs and such).

Shoot me an email if you're interested...

Otherwise, I think that's just about retail for those guards. I'm not sure it's a huge savings. Not sure though...

They seem a little expensive to me.

If RP wants to sell at a good price go with those.

I'd like to have a set of the splash guards for my truck but I can't seem to find them and I'm not a strong proponent of E-Bay. The only ones I've ever seen are for the Super Crew. Does the same set fit both Super Crews and Super Cabs or are they different?

That's a darn good question bud. I have no idea if they're the same. I'll do a little research and get back with you.

Chestnut....

Did you have a bad experience of E Bay ?

I have to err on the side of caution with such things as in my professional life I had to advise the public in the court situation about their consumer rights etc.

However I have found Ebay to have been a very positive experience and have traded on and off for over 4 years or so with nearly 200 transactions some of which were expensive watches from the Far East !

I've never bought anything off E-Bay myself so I have no first hand experience of what it's like; however, I have worked with other detectives who have had to run criminal investigations involving fraud and swindles on E-Bay purchases. People who ordered merchandise, sent the money, and then never got their purchase and the seller disappeared never to be found again.

While I'm sure the number of fraud and swindles is very small compared to the hundreds, probably thousands of transactions on E-Bay, it tends to make you very cautious. As a result, I'm not anxious to send "John Doe Stranger in Cyber Space" my hard earned money hoping he'll keep up his end of the deal.

Guess it's just one of the drawbacks of the occupation. What do they call it, an Occupational Hazard?

Probably a good thing... they all sold.

I still have my set if anyone wants em... but, I'll place a classified to make it official and kosher.
