I might purchase a KR!

Hey everyone.

Lastnight my dad and I went to the local Ford dealer for their Friday-Saturday 2004 F150 kickoff weekend. There weren't many people there at all, and the newspaper said they were expecting about 150 people there, lol. Anyway, I currently own a 2001 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Quad Cab. My dad was checking out the S'crews and came along the almighty King Ranch. It's an 03, blue/beige. The only one there. With no intentions of buying a new truck, we took it for a test drive, and I even got to drive it! Boy, it was sooo sweet. Smells like you're sittin' on the cow. I LOVE the temperature control thing,,, and the moonroof...REALLY nice. Plus, the power window in the back. If we trade in the Dodge, they will give us 21k for it, and the MSRP for the KR is about 36k. For those of you with a KR, are you happy that you bought it? Is it really worth it? What other options should I look into? Oh, it was so exciting, I was so thrilled, being the Ford Girl that I am. I took about 20 pics! LOL. I knew more than my dad about Fords. He asked what SVT was, because I was talking about them to the salesman. Me and the salesguy said at the same time, "Special Vehicle Teams" then he's like "She's got her stuff together!" And they really liked my Ford shirt, lol. He was even like, "Me and you will help your dad get rid of the Dodge, we'll work on him, you and me." LOL. The 04 F150 took my breath away. I also saw the 40th anniverasry 'Stang, and the new T-bird. Also, what do you think of the 10-spoke wheels? I think they kinda look ghetto. Eh.. too many spokes. But they're still cool. And does anyone know what the 'wavy line' KR logo means? Thanks.

Go with the KR! The Wavy line is actually a Running Dubbya, so I hear. It's the King Ranch logo.

Elmer Fudd was involved in the orginal marketing scheme, hence the W for
Wanch.

Isn't she a sweety?

Anyway... the 'RUNNING W' is the 'brand' that the real King Ranch has used on it's cattle for over 150 years now however; it's true origin remains a mystery...

Read About it Here

Glad to hear you might join the KR family... give me a yell if you have any questions.

Skagel = Lady Ring Ranch Owner It used to be when President Rockpick got on his soapbox to talk to everyone he'd address them as Lady and Gentlemen, but when you get yours, he'll have to address as Ladies

Go for it!
