Question Leather Conditioning Frequency

Hey all, I know there are a ton of threads on here about maintaining our precious KR leather, and by now, we are all probably tired of reading about them, but I just have one last question. How often should I condition the leather? I know it kind of depends on the climate and how much wear and tear you normally put your seats through, but on the average, how often?
Thanks Guys,
Adam

I try to do mine at least 3 times a summer, and at least twice a winter. The winter ones are tough because I have to be on a road trip somewhere warm. Once as soon as it's a good warm day in the spring, and just before it starts getting too cold in the fall. It still doesn't seem to be enough. I recently had my front seat covers replaced (and I forgot to ask for the old ones, dammit).
Hope this helps.

I've always felt that, as a rule of thumb, you should condition only as needed. I say this because over conditioning is not a good thing as well...

My determining factor is feel and look. If the seats feel 'rough' or dry or appear to have slight cracks and or creases, I'll condition.

This typically comes out to about the number that BD mentioned in his earlier post...

I spot conditioned several more times than 3 but, a total full rub down only happend about 5 times last year.

Anyway to bring back the Steering wheel??
Just the upper portion.
It has got so dark it is almost black....
(Bought it used) ) 01' KR in Chestnut.
Not to mention the texture is starting to get those little
***** of "lint for a better word" on it?
I have just applied the first coat of conditioner to it, it helped with the texture but it is still dark.
I know it is stained from the oil in the skin.

KOR,

You really might want to consider trying the babywash thing. I know others have had pretty good luck with it.
