KR in 2004??

I've just visited the Ford website, and I didn't see anything regarding a 2004 King Ranch model. Has anyone seen a press release or something from Ford? Are we going to have some relatively rare production runs (a-la the Hurst Oldsmobile in the mid 80's)?

They aren't going to make any botique editions (HD, KR, etc) for the 2004 production year is the plan... if, per chance, they do, it will be LATE 04...

From what we understand, we'll see them in 05.

That's my understanding as well... I was referring specifically to the regular F-150.

Well, it doesn't hurt my feelings. We love our KR, and if they don't bring them back it will just be a little more special. Only bad thing is that some other people will be deprived the thrill of ownership.

I work at a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury dealership (# 1 in the nation actually), and have become pretty good friends with the owner. He says that the King Ranch will be available with the '04 year model, but it's going to be late availablity, just like it was in '01.
