My dash has developed a rattle, it seems to come from the air bag. Opening the dash door seems to help. Anyone had this problem before? My dealer claims not to find anything wrong, as its hard to duplicate unless traveling on a concrete highway.

I don't have a rattle and I don't think I've heard of any but that doesn't mean that there aren't those with the same problem. Maybe you've got a rattle snake in your dash...

BTW, what part of SC are you from?

I live in Lyman SC, but spend most of the fall months hunting in Orangeburg SC near Branchville.

 

My business partner had a 02 King Ranch that had a constant dash rattle, although his was more in the front heater vents the dealer wouldn' t do anything about it. Is your King Ranch Chestnut? Maybe it is something to do with that color.

Speaking of snakes - my wife found part of a snake skin in our living room this past weekend. Not sure if it was deposited there, or if we brought it in from outdoors, accidentally.
Then, this morning, my co-worker was awakened by her dogs' barking. Went into kitchen area and found a snake wrapped around the leg of a stool. Dispatched it with a cleaver. Brave woman!
