New KR on the block

I took the plunge around Easter, it is an '02, had only 12,000kms (7,500 miles for those who can't convert our Canadian units of measure) when I got it, might as well have been an demo. Chestnut / Arizona, 5.4L, 4X4, 3.55s, Fibrobec hard tonneau cover.

I can't believe how awesome this truck is. The leather is the best leather I have sat on in a vehicle. (I will try not to beat that subject to death).

I have been lurking around for about a month and decided that I would like to join this crazy crew, that is if you will have me.

Here's to all of you KROCs, can't wait to talk to each one of you.

Pics to come shortly.

Welcome aboard.....

I don't have to welcome you to the madhouse because if you've been lurking around for a few weeks it will have dawned on you already !

We've had pics of KR's in Ice Rinks, Cinder slopes in Iceland, Outside the King Ranch.....
...but one hooked on top of the CNN tower would be pretty amazing.

Now there's a challenge !

Wait till you take it on a long trip. My wife won't ride in any thing else now. Really glad that we got ours.
Just doesn't do well at the beach with wet bathing suits or suntan lotion - take along extra (BIG) towells.

Congratulations on your KR!

Canuk,

Welcome to our KR truck family. We may be crazy but we are one big family no matter how looney we may sound, some of us are sane though

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

Lenticular
The top of the CN Tower.....I will have to get back to you on that one but nothing is impossible. The pint is on you, (London Pride, John Smith or Boddingtons will do) if I can pull it off.

Daveman
The loonier the better if you ask me.

Chaos
The more hosers the better EH!!!

RockPick
If anyone should be chief, you would be my pick.

Chestnut
Agreed 100%.

Sarman
Shouldn't that happen on the second post not the first one....

Great....just what we need.....

Someone else with a warped sense of humor !!!!

As for the beer it will have to be

Old Peculiar or Speckled Hen , or the best is Dorothy Goodbodys Wholesome Stout.

And yes I'm serious, so go to the Cheshire Camra group, link below.

For our American friends it stands for the Campaign for Real Ale.
Drink some of these and B*dwe**er and Mil**r start to taste like sanitized pee.

Len

That is why I lurked in the shadows for a month, I wanted to make sure my warped sense of humour fit the profile.

After reading between the line on a couple of posts I knew I was shoe in, now let the games begin.

As the sarcasm drips off each and every letter..........

Warped may be a little harsh, twisted maybe, but not warped.
