Do all the KR's have

Doo of of the KR's have the wood grain trim around the das and sides? I noticed that KingRanchSC02's truck did not have that on it, whereas RP's and BlueLightning did.... Is it a mod or is it the difference between the SC and SCrew?

Just wondering.....

The later ones have the trim.....some of us with the earlier models bought trim kits (Off E Bay for example...and very good they are too !)

2001 DID NOT have it...

I purchased a kit... just like the one that Lenny has (Daveman has it now)... it just wasn't my style....

Definately a nice part but, I just wasn't sure about it thus, I didn't install it.

the 02's didn't have it either. I think the 03 is the only one so far that came with it standard. We'll see what the next generation brings.

The Texas road atlas should fit quite nicely in the saddle bag behind the seat!

Actually, you know, it doesn't quite fit.....
And Lord knows I've tried.
It stands just a little bit too tall and the flap won't quite close properly !!!

Well noticed though !!

PS

Those nice people on the Oak Leaf City Council have said I can have one of your Tee Shirts....

"Good Grief....Where is Oak Leaf ?!"

OK I just noticed that and I wondered about it. BTW Joe's truck is a 02 isn't it? And you say the grain trim started in 02? or 03?

Yeah... I goofed. 03 was the year however; there was a Ford aftermarket kit available for the 01's (no electronic HVAC system).

I've got an 02 and it doesn't have it. Like they said, it only came on the 03. Looking at BL's pic, he has the auto air. The dash looks identical to mine. I wonder what it would cost to buy the wood grain piece from Ford and snap it in? Anyone know?

OK, now it all falls into place I think I like it without the wood grain trim better than with it.... IMHO it looks slightly fake...

TNBigAl: You can probably find one on ebay or in Rockpick's garage

I got the complete wood trim pack (Original and new Ford item) from E bay for $50 inclusive of shipping, and was very pleased with both fit and appearance.

I got the same kit that Lenny bought off of ebay for $42 I believe... however; be reminded that Lenny and I both have an 01 and thus, we don't have electronic temp control.
