King Ranch info.

Found out last week that Ford will not be carrying the King Ranch version for 2004. Also for you guys out there thats been having the problem with the box rattle, Ford has came out with a dampener kit to solve the problem. Free Fix!

They 'PROBABLY' won't offer any botique editions for the 2004 model year however; Ford and KR have a contract that extends outwards for a few years. I would definately expect to see the KR in 05.

Say it ain't so

Are you sure? I was desperately hoping for an 04 KR. I've been holding off on ordering one. Do I order with the Lariat or wait another year.....arggghhh

How reliable is the information.

Thx

I have had two different sources tell me...

1st: An engineer with LEER corporation (the company that makes almost all of FoMoCo's interior systems - including the KR).

2nd: Two dealerships

Just me but, I'd wait til the 05. This way you can assure that they've worked out alot of the bugs (which will, no doubt, exist) and, they will have the Castano Leather instead of clearcoated Lariat leather.

You'll make it man! Be strong. You have a bunch of other folks here who are just as looney about our trucks as you will be... lean on us.

LOL!

Why not just get an '03? I fell in love with mine right at the dealership. Traded my Lightning a week later and never looked back. I might be biased, but I think the '03s will be hard to improve on. Keep in mind that the '04 or '05 models will cost more, too. You won't regret any KR you choose.
Lariat's are nice (I owned a '99), but they don't compare to the KR. Good luck.

Hey Brad. Do you have a TSB or campaign number for the box rattle dampening kit?
