In response to your post where I mentioned "SNAFU" ,

For this truck I would add the military expression "FUBAR" !

I just don't know about that truck...maybe I am coming out of the redneck stage in my life because the Jaguar XKR (convertable of course) is looking more and more appealing to me instead of a SD KR....just wish I could get it in a manual, with KR leather.

ROFL "Mom, I don't want that piece of junk!" as he eyes up the little import convertable 6cyl with a turbo.

You just wait

as long as he pays for it I could care less what he drives....if he doesn't want Tomas he will have to buy his own vehicle.

That's one thing I love about this group, parenting skillz.

Hopefully when my son comes of age (not for a long while thank goodness) I'll do my darndest to convince him he needs a regular cab pickup with just enough engine to get the job done, but not so much that gets him in trouble. Of course by then we might be all stuck driving alternative fuel rigs around. I sure hope they figure out how to get enough HP out of a hydrogen engine to make a pickup run good.

IMO Toyota is going to be the one to do that....Ford and the other American auto makers are lagging behind in this area.

Yeah... I definately agree that the 'BIG 3' will miss the boat on this one. This despite the fact that Ford is sinking multitudes of $ into hydrogen powered engines.

Did I hear something the other day about Ford unveiling something Hydrogen powered that was supposed to be top notch in the industry?
