You all are clueless on what I do aren't you?

Seriously... there are only a few days that I can actually play around online... my job is VERY high stress and this is honestly one of the ways that I let off steam.

For example, today I was out behind a GeoProbe 5410 Click here to learn about the GeoProbe 5410 collecting soil samples at an industrial facility. In addition to that, I collected various groundwater samples at varying depths. All of this work was part of a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment that is being driven by a multi-million dollar real estate transaction.

Once my laboratory data arrives (hopefully tomorrow around noon as I have it on a rush turn around), I'll have a couple of days preparing tables and text to report my findings and recommendations to my client.

All in all, my findings can either make or break the transaction; long story short.

That's just a small peak into my life....

Other days I'm dealing with ion-exchange groundwater remedation systems or a soil vapor extraction systems (design, installation, maintenance).

Other days I'm dealing with hazardous waste permitting and/or reporting.

Other days I'm working on calculating air emissions for Title V air permitting....

and on... and on... and on... and on...

It's stressful... when you see me on during the day and popping in with a here and there blurb, rest assured that I'm working... and working hard at that. I work 60 hours nearly every week... most of which are billable hours.

Nah... I didn't mean to make it sound like I was lashing out... I can take a good poking (don't read too much into that please... LOL)...

Just putting a couple of typical days out on the line for some of the non-believers.

And I'm just a computer geek

Call, "My keyboard doesn't work anymore"

Tilt keyboard and gunky coffee runs into my lap...

Stupid question # 1 "What is this?"
Bad answer #1 "well as I was drinkng my coffee Joe said something funny, man my nose hurts too!"

Call, "my network isn't working" (crawl under cracker, peanut shell encrusted desk with INCREDIBLE foot odor smell, get little finger snapped in ****ed but unbaited mousetrap <when was the last tetanus?> to find the toejam encrusted net cable corroded through)

JEEZ wish I'd finished college and become a Proctologist (he! he!).

Gosh Brad.......

Now I see where you are "coming" from.....

That link was most informative and clarifies the whole thing.

“Depth of your sampling tool “

“Faster Probing”

“Electronic Depth Indicator”

“54 Inch Stroke”

“2 Speed Pull”

“Rod Grip Pull Block”

No wonder when I tried to copy and paste those phrases up pops a "Protected Content" window !!!!!

Holy ***** it's gettin' deep in this forum. "Shaft", ok, RP I believe ya' you go by shaft at the office, whatever.

jk btw, for all I know you do!

Anyway, on another subject, hows the shirts goin'? Anxious to get mine. Stickers too. Kinda like skagel tho, running outta room on the back window where I want to put a sticker. May have to go on the lower corner of the windshield? Got my NASCAR stickers on the back window. Lenny, I mentioned that for you. cause I know how much you love NASCAR.

Damn I'm on a roll today. In a good mood tho, got me a new boss and rid of the old jackass. Time to celebrate.

Have a good weekend all.
