I own 3 pairs of Luchesse boots and love them. They are no more expensive than Justins or Tony Lama's unless you go to San Antone and have them made from your custom last like the movie stars do.

All that being said, I still like my KR interior better. Suburbans ain't my style and the interior says: "dude"!

I'd rather push my Ford than buy a chevy. Buy one? I think not.

I'd drive a Pinto before I'd drive that thing.

Didn't note the hp figure. Was just checking out the wheels and interior. You're right though, I'm a sucker for hp. GM always touts big on the power and delivers less. Hence, the new Silverado SS, which I hear ain't that quick.

I think the Luchesse truck is pretty, just not for me, particularly if the $$$ are like you predict. And I bet you're right, Mike.

I'm really glad I have a Ford.

To each their own but, I believe Ford has paved the way for 'botique' model vehicles. Everyone is jumping on board inside the SUV and Truck market now...

Yeah, they're plain copycats... but they can't even copy it to look nice IMHO it's ugly.

is that ostrich on the steering wheel and the side of the center consol? looks pretty nice to me but i'd have to see it in person. as far as copycats go, these interiors have been done long before ford, just not brand named as such. audi has an interior similar in the A8 but has the stiching similar to a baseball glove.

The web site says it is a concept and not for production unless enough people show an interest.

I for one would love to see it in real life.......it may be OTT or in real daylight it may look OK...but I'd still love to see it.

The following is cut and pasted from the site that Mike originally referred to.

" The four full-size bucket seats feature the Lucchese Mission logo inlay in the headrest and the interior is trimmed in two-tone Perone leather with Klein Karoo Ostrich leather inserts. Perone leather with Klein Karoo Ostrich leather inserts. The Lucchese Mission logo is also prominently displayed on the dash and in the floor mats.

The Southwest’s upscale lifestyle is further reflected in Lucchese Suburban’s use of walnut wood and sterling silver. Both materials are liberally used on the dash bezel, passenger assist handle, all four door armrests, the center console, the quarter panel trim, and the rear cargo doors. A Truckvault storage unit is also finished in this richly dark wood.

Lucchese Suburban is powered by a 460-horsepower, 8.1-liter engine and features an updated induction system with K&N air filter, custom-fabricated stainless steel exhaust headers and 3-inch stainless steel exhaust with Edelbrock RPM mufflers and Corsa polished tips.Lucchese Suburban - for cowboys everywhere."
