No 2004 KR's ?

Just read an article from my local newspaper from Sunday 5/25/03. The byline says it was written by Amy Wilson from Automotive News. Ford is to delay "boutique" versions of the F-150 till 2005. The first edition to be put out will be the King Ranch followed by the Lightning then the Harley-Davidson. Anyone else see similiar info?

I was told this exact thing by the sales manager at the local dealership. Said that the theory was that they could work out the bugs before rolling out any of the (and he used the same word) botique editions.

On the flip side, they are definately starting work on the 04 SCREWS and SCABS!

I snapped this over the weekend at the Kentucky Engineering Prooveout Facility here in Louisville adjacent to the SuperDuty/Excursion plant.

I would sadly have to agree.....there are way to many problems with the interior design to start letting them roll out in '04

Nice pics RP. The article also said the Heritage editions will be out this year, trying to fill the gap till 05.

Interesting. I thought the Heritage would be a one or two year only model. *shrugs*
