no not threatening anyone just prefer and pretty much only buy darker colors. Don't like white shirts or off white for that matter. It's preference if the majority go with the other color then so be it won't be the first time I pass on something and won't be the last. Just won't buy a shirt that has a great logo on it but I will never wear waste of good money.

Sure hope this shirt color issue isn't going to over-shadow what we're trying to accomplish here. A couple of folks, Rockpick and Joe (not to leave anyone else out) have put a lot of work in this and I'd sure hate to see the group divided over something like the color of the shirt! Speaking strictly for myself, I don't really care what color it is. I still want one (or two). Lets hang in there group.

logical,

You are correct. This is for all the apples. Whatever color wins in this vote will be the color.

Here's the thing. A lot of us have worked very hard on this thing. Too many people to name individually. You know who you are.

I just want to say this. Don't ever try to coordinate one of these things on your own. It's a beast. Especially if you're like me and have a strong desire to attempt to make everyone happy. It's my nature. I strive to make people happy in business and with my family which, in turn, makes my life tough.

I've done just this on this shirt deal. I've attempted to make everyone happy and am at the realization that, no matter what I do, I'm not going to be near making 'everyone' happy.

With that being said, we will move forward with the shirt order regardless of the folks that don't want to do it because of a color selection or because they're feelings were hurt because this/that/or the other wasn't chosen to their wants.

This is a shirt folks. I'm not trying to persuade you to buy a condo in the Florida Keys. I understand being picky about some things but, we're talking about a $20-$25 investment; not $300,000.

I appreciate the opportunity that you all have allowed me to run with. Several of us have had a vision for a shirt for us as enthusiasts and now we're at the brink of it becoming a reality. Joe and I have talked of this idea for damn near a year. We're finally seeing it come to be... I, for one, am excited. It's almost a reality. It's in sight.

For those I've ticked off along the way, I'm sorry. For those who are not happy with the color, I'm sorry. For those who wanted the Running W despite KR's wishes to remove it, I'm sorry.

The bottom line is I don't want this to seperate anyone from the group but, the buck has to stop somewhere and, since I've been spearheading this endeveor, I'm stopping it at this point.

If you buy a shirt; great. If not; great. I simply don't care.

Still, bear in mind that a minimum order requirement must be fullfilled and is standard practice in the embroidery industry. I opted to not do multiple colors from a practicality stand point. I simply am stretched too thin as it is with family, work, and my hobbies. I don't have time to track 5 different colors over a 6 different size spectrum. I'm not griping. Just stating where I stand.

Again, in closing, thank you for sticking with me and helping to see this through to nearly a reality. I value each and every one of you as friends and feel that this club is a great way for us to grow as friends and keep a very common, strong bond.

With that being said as well, I'm planning on ending the color vote very soon. Once the color has been chosen by the majority, we will set a date for everyone to submit funds. A date will also be set serving as a deadline for monies to be submitted. Long story short, no money; no shirt; no exceptions.

I will write one lump sum check to the embroidery place for the total amount of shirts ordered. If your money is received after the deadline, your money will be returned.

I will start a seperate thread detailing payment information, deadlines, and also confirmation of orders and receipt of payment.

This is a good time to email me to make sure that your name is on my mailing list such that I can contact you in the case of questions on your order. Please email me at rockpick@insightbb.com to confirm that you are on my list. I will respond.

Thanks guys.

RP
