Thumbs up An Initial Response From King Ranch

Lady and Gentlemen, we have recieved a response from Kingsville.

Mind you, it's not a 'YES' or a 'NO' at this point but, it's a definite begining to fulfilling our hopes as a club.

Hi Bradley, Sorry I have been unable to return your second phone call which is when you left your return number for the first time. I need to discuss your request with the King Ranch Legal Counsel and will get back to as quick as possible.

Hope your well and enjoying your vehicle. Kindly, (snip)
With this being said, I think it's safe to say that the ball is rolling. It's very interesting in that the first email that I sent, I forgot to attach the logo. My contact emailed back twice within 15 minutes requesting that I forward the logo (which I promptly completed). It sounds as though they are interested.

Sounds weird but, maybe we'll get a second oar for this canoe we've been paddling upstream. It sounds very promising but, I'm not going to count my chickens as of yet.

Just thought I'd give an update.

Might not be a bad idea to reference (or link) the website in an e-mail during the discussion. It would show them the size and commitment of the group and also show them that this group orders product (like I have) from their catalog/website.

Just a thought. Good luck!

The website has been referenced in other correspondence. They know we exist and, in fact, judging by the tone of another response, they knew prior to me informing them of our existance.

Just a tone that I picked up... I may be wrong but when we were referred to as the 'Ford Truck Group', it just had a context that seemingly said "we know who you are...".

If they did know, I certainly don't think it's a bad thing. We're a class group of folks I believe... well, everyone but Lenny. LOL!

*shrugs*

As I mentioned in another thread, I think this is a positive sign. If KR were totally against this idea, we would've been shot out of the water in an instant rather than them running it through their legal team. I'm keeping the faith on this one... I think we'll have an answer very soon. We're not dead in the water yet!

I don't know for sure but, at this moment, and based on my personal opinion drawn from the email, I think they might have known.

What was the name of the lady at the KR Saddleshop that you all talked with? Maybe it's the same person that I'm dealing with.

I know I only mentioned it recently but the young lady I spoke to when I was in the Saddleshop was Rose...she had worked with Ford on the leather treatments.
I gave her the web address of the KR Forum and I know from a subsequent conversation that people at the store had looked at our posts....she was interested in all the conversations about different treatments and the various results...(Well somebody had to be interested !!!!).
Anyway I had left her a couple of messages last week and I understand she tried to get back to me here in the UK but I missed her call.
(The six hour time difference doesn't help!).

If I hear any more I will report back but it seems like things are progressing nicely anyway.

Hey Len. Thanks for the response. Rose is who I am dealing with specifically and she had mentioned that she had a message from 'someone with our group' a few days ago...

I believe the ball is rolling now... I've still got my soccer 'boots' laced up if it needs to be struck again.
