Hrrm... someone hasn't been following the boards closely enough. Hence, it's already installed (nearly a month ago), operational, and was even used today...

You may recall a picture of this nature where I mentioned that I was a bonehead and cut the hole slightly crooked...

However, since, I've purchased that entire dash piece (YL3Z-15044D70-EAA) and made the crookedness a gleeming display of straightness...

And yes, I did try to get it through Ford. But, at $50 for a friggin' switch, I opted to find a wrecked Contour and buy it for $15. Gotta love the junkyard for simplicity (and a little fun because I got to remove the switch on my own... which involved DESTROYING the Contour door panel... I love hammers)

We'll let it go.... BUT JUST THIS ONCE! Don't let it happen again because next time Mike might have to come to Michigan and follow through on Lenny and mine's rock/hail test on Tomas.

Like I said, that's okay. We're going to let it go...

Especially because your mom's truck motivated me to find the stock switch and make it a stock setup for my rear slider. Looks cleaner than the CR Laurence switch IMHO. Thanks again for that picture from many moons ago...

I guess I should change this forum topic to 'Rockpick's adventure with buttons and switches" Hey I could write a childrens book and name it afer you. little pictures of RP at the junkyard with real buttons to push, oh no RP broke the door with a hammer, dont tell mommy. The next day RP found himself cutting into a $30.000 car without permission from mom or dad. Hey the switched work! can you push the button and make the window open? The End
If you ever have read childrens book to your kids you know that most of them are about that stupid and short.
Im not saying RP is stupid or short just the book is, some may have other opinions though
