Well, I didn't realize I was entering a whole new "click" when I bought my new KR last week. This is awesome! Someone who can relate to my car and truck craziness. I hope to visit and post often. Talk to you soon.

Welcome to our little clan. We're a 'different' bunch of folks (especially Skagel) but, we're all pretty much just like you... crazy about our trucks. (Skagel borders on psychotic about hers though).

Again, welcome. We look forward to seeing some pictures!

Thumbs up

About my truck, it's a 2003 Charcoal Blue Screw, (learned that term just today ), 4x4, moonroof, towing package, 5.4l with 3.73 non limited slip axle. I absolutely love it. Traded in my 2000 GT Stang convert and my 2000 Ranger 4x4 S/C on it. Didn't hardly drive the Stang up in these parts during the cold weather so I decided to make a two for one deal. Saving me about $350.00 a month so the wife can't complain, besides she says the heated seats are "da bomb". I haven't done anything to it yet, just got it last Thursday night. I have the mud flaps on order, appointment for a Rhino spray in liner, and am looking for a soft tonneau. Disappointed they don't make the KR version anymore. Anybody have a black one on their truck? What's it look like? Anyway, glad to be a part of the family. Die hard Ford fan here and NASCAR fan too. Hope to talk to y'all soon.

PS

Don't mention NASCAR in my hearing.

Rockpick did once and I decided to let him live.
(He had just got to 1000 posts and I felt tolerant towards the insane.)

Now F1 and World Rally Championship ... that's real motor sport !

IL6,

I would've thought of SOME excuse to keep the GT! (I traded my 2000 Lightning in on the 02 KR <The only time I liked hearing a whine!> I loved that truck mor... OK as much as Skagel loves Tomas)

Welcome to the club and you'll be glad you got the roof.

And, (don't let anyone else hear this) but Charcoal is the best.
Diamonds do come in blue and are made of charcoal but there are no Oxford White, Chestnut purple (ooops), or Estate Green diamonds (RP can back me up... He! He!) I know I'll hear from the black owners though...

G

Though RP will correct me on the COAL vs. CHARCOAL thing I was 1/2 right...

Welcome, welcome, welcome....yes I admit "WE" are all a bit acentric (yes Lenny I spelled that wrong) about our babies....we love the leather....and well, pretty much everything about the KR. yes, it is true I love my Tomas, I may be a little crazier then the rest, but there are reasons for that and trust me it is better I let my frustrations out in loving my Tomas more then what would be considered normal.

Actually, I've repainted the kettle chestnut and put a few coats of clearcoat on it. I should have time tomorrow to get a couple of coats of wax on it...
