I have just learned that Ford is working on a way to get the radio controls on the stearing wheel like they have on the Explorers....This made Skagel's day.....that and being able to check out a Turbo diesel.....oh and get paid for it!!!!

well, i'ts about time they moved them to the wheel. with the class of people who drive these trucks you'd think they'd have done it from the beginning. i fell in love w/ steering mounted controls back in the 80's when i saw them on a mitsubisi(sp) makes the drive that much safer as you never have to take your eyes off the road to modify stuff.

 

Well, you have to understand that until now trucks were just that....trucks....they were for work not show.

 

I have actually looked into seeing how much trouble it would be to add it to our trucks. Electrically, it was going to be a beast and, with the leather on the wheel, it was almost impossible.

I really wish I had it though. I would've kept my factory deck if I could've had that...
