Icy Payback

To all you King Ranck folks up Northeast, it's payback time for some of us here in Texas who have been making fun of the weather you've been getting.

We had 6 inches of sleet Monday night followed by freezing rain Tuesday night. All of north Texas is one big parking lot. I did make it to work Monday--took the VW Bug instead of the KR, decided to stay home today.

As for the King Ranch--it's setting safely in the driveway away from harm.

To quote someone from an earlier thread--this weather sucks.

I think that would've been me (as I look out my window in my office and watch it snow)... this is the worst winter I can recollect. Just awful...

that must be crazy down there. i was in houston in 89 when it snowed and you'd think the people were all learning how to drive for the first time that very day.

I quote the news as saying there were 513 police responces to accidents this last Monday from 4pm to Tuesday at 6pm alone! I know how to drive in such from my days in Colorado, and idiots here go nuts!!!! Yes, the KR was home and safe. It is why the ones up North have "winter beaters"!

Don't make us come down there and rough you up. If you don't watch it, I'll knock that lamp of yours off your desk. MUHAHAHA!

Doesn't look too cold where she is!

Seriously though, you have a King Ranch and you're keeping it "safe" in the garage on snowy days?!
Snow is mother natures invite for 4H. Get out and embrace the cold white stuff.

snow may be a 4-wheel invite, but the salt is cancer causing evil stuff......don't do it man......buy a cheap 4-wheeler to play in the snow with......or a front wheel drive hyundai is a lot of fun to....just be sure you have friends with 4-wheelers to pull ya out when you get stuck......not that I would know anything about that.
