Has anyone done any towing with their King Ranch? We're thinking about buying a small travel trailer (18 to 20 ft) and towing it behind the KR. I have the 5.4 engine and tow package.

Has anyone installed a trailer brake on their KR, what is the best brand and can it be mounted so it won't be a knee banger or clutter up the inside of the truck?

 

I regularly tow a 20 foot center console boat with a 90 hp and barely notice it's there ! (With 5.4 and tow package).
Haven't felt the need for additional braking down on the coastal plain !

 

No problem, you have plenty of truck to tow with that size trailer. I would like to have trailer brakes on anything over 18 feet. Surge brakes on the trailer is all you need.
