I have owned my KR for two weeks now and I detect a nice aroma every once and awhile. Is there a filter in the dash? I read through the maintenance schedual quickly and thought I saw that an inside filter needs to be replaced at some future time. I don`t think what I am smelling is the leather seats but I could be wrong.
It has been so cold here in Virginia that I have not had a chance to go over my owners manuel while I`ve been in the truck so I thought I would come here for an answer.

Not sure KRM, could be the leather you are smelling. It can be pretty strong at times, especially when it's new. As far as the filter in the dash I am not sure. My Expi talks about it too, but I've never seen it. I have heard that it only exists in some vehicles. I suppose I should do a search on it, maybe later.
