strictly by the placement of the oil filter and dipstick it looks like ours.

again I remind you I am not an engineer and hurt myself everytime I go near the engine to do anything.

Oh Sarah dear, ...... I think we need some private tuition don't we ?
Mind you I have to admire you for having a go even though you admit to not knowing as much about engines as some might !

I suppose it might be obvious to think on a KR forum I would place a photo of a KR engine....but then you know me better than that !!

Be interesting to see what effect this motor had on the performance though, if fitted !

Hmm. Hint #1 - "V12" stamped on top. I seem to recall there were a number of performace cars fitted with a V12. I *think* Jaguar produced one. Can't recall any others right away. Sorry.

I don't want to see Sarah suffer so here's the answer earlier than I intended.

It is from 007's latest movie car....the V12 Aston Martin Vanquish.
Admittedly the production versions don't have all the toys such as missile launchers etc. but every engine is hand built and signed for by one person (On a special engraved plate on the engine)...so they tend to take pride in their work !

Don't do that !!!!

Even people over here sometimes call it an AUSTIN Martin.

It's ASTON Martin.

In the 50's our family HAD an Austin Cambridge.....VERY different !!!

Yep... ASTON MARTIAN (misspelled intentionally... I just like the word 'Martian'.... Marvin has to be the coolest Martian that I know...)
