Hi all fellow King Ranch owners. I've been lurking this site for about 6 months until I was finally convinced to order my own in mid November. The dealership contacted me on 12/24 that it had arrived and I made arrangements to pick it up on 12/26. We got hit with a ton of snow here in New Jersey on Christmas day so I made new plans to pick it up on 12/28.

Here's a description of the new truck: 2003 King Ranch Supercab Flareside. The color; I like all the others but LOVE the Chestnut. Pictures to follow after I pick her up.

sweet a flareside! i modded my moms FX4 Lariat w/ the KR flareside stuff. looks sweet, but I can't waite to see the real thing.

I'm anxious to see your new truck. I have the 2002 KR Supercab in the same color combination and I've been wondering what the flareside will look like.

Through the magic of computers, maybe we can put pictures of the two side by side for a comparison. You'd really see the differences then.

I saw one today on the way back to the office at lunch. Will take some getting used to. It was olive color, and the bulbous fiberglass lid did not help the looks. I much prefer the standard supercrew configuration.

After seeing your picture gallery I finally made my decision to order mine. The only difference, I think, is mine is a Flareside. Pick her up tomorrow.

Well, I picked up the new truck yesterday. As the wife and I pulled into the dealership lot I spotted the truck and my jaw it the ground. The truck looked 100 times better then I expected. On the drive home I felt like I was 17 again. Pictures to follow.
