Exclamation WOW! What a Christmas Present!!

I've have been hanging in the shadows for quite some time now reading and enjoying everyones' posts in this forum but have never posted myself. Probably because I don't own a KR and was afraid of being run off by an angry mob. But no more!! I have been waiting for nearly nine weeks (what a wait!) for a factory direct order from Ford and recieved a call yesterday letting me know it was in. The vehicle will be prepped Monday morning and Monday evening, work allowing, I will tie up loose ends and drive it home. I'm certain you guys will welcome me into your group. I know you guys, and gal, are familiar with all of the bells and whistles, so I'll just give you a rundown on the specs.

2003 F150 Supercrew King Ranch 4x4
Chestnut/Arizona Beige
5.4L V8
3.73 Limited Slip rear axle
Towing Package
60/40 split rear bench seat

This is my second Supercrew. I'm getting rid of my 2001 Lariat, arizona beige, w/ 15k miles tomorrow. Wish me luck with the creditors!!

Congrats CoilFrac,

Welcome to our club, and to the KR forums or boards as some call them...

At least you picked a good color, hehe...

Frac,

Welcome to the family...

Like the other Chestnut owners have mentioned... we're glad you bought the only 'TRUE' King Ranch color...

LOL! Oh geesh, not the color war again!

On a chestnut note, I saw my first Super Duty Chestnut KR... All I can say is BAD A$$!! It was **VERY** nice and, *cough*, I want one.

I guess I'll be the 1st "other color" to welcome you aboard (with the exception of Harley#356 but he doesn't count in this case cause he drives one of those "other" great looking trucks with the sweet leather and stuff )

I trust I won't be alone for long however

Hope you enjoy yours as much as we all do and congrats on the Xmas present (time to get a bigger tree!).

Gene (the token charcoal blue)...

Santas coming, hope those flying deer don't cr@p on my truck!
note to those in warmer climates: close your roof Tuesday night!

CoilFrac -

Welcome to the KR Klan. Like several others have already mentioned, you did buy the one and only true King Ranch color - Chestnut. I know you'll enjoy the vehicle as much as the rest of us do. Let us hear from you once in a while.

yep, welcome aboard the board. Charcoal Blue here, but I'm not so stuck on the color issue Hey, put some pics up when you get the chance, I wanna see those chrome running boards. The wife was gonna get a Black lariat with chrome running boards but the dealer messed around and we ended up getting a deal on the KR. Now the KR comes in Black with chrome, go figure lol

Congradulations on the new arrival. Hope all is well with him/her. Now your baby is young and I know you will find lots of great advice on how to raise her/him right and bath him/her properly.

Happy Holidays!

Here it is. I'm almost embarrassed to post this pic. It has been raining here the past couple of days and the truck is filthy.

I will let ya slide on her being dirty. We all have been there....yes even me.....Tomas is in storage right now and I never got to clean him before the first snow so he will be sitting in his own filth all winter long.

so clean him the the shop, just heat the shop and use low pressure water to wash him down. just doesn't seem like you to let him sit in a dirty diaper all winter now does it. guilt trip guilt trip guilt trip!!!!! btw, it was almost cold enough here to put on a sweat shirt, LOL. i guess that is the only thing i love about so cal.
