I'm a retired 'car guy' living in Central Florida, and the proud owner, since new, of a 2001 F150 XLT 2WD extended cab. I could use some advice about upgrading the wheels and tires to the Gen 2 Lightning style, either early or late. At the same time, lowering it using one of Belltech's dropped spindle kits that are available. I joined the Forum in hopes of meeting other F150 owners who could offer some suggestions or who have made similar upgrades so that I can avoid any mistakes. Also, can any members recommend a quality shop in the Central Florida area where I could have the Belltech lowing kit installed?
I have never used any kind of Forum. Should I also post this in the Suspension and Wheels and Tire Forums?
I look forward to hearing from any members that could offer their insights.
