Hello again from Toronto
Hi all been a member for a long time but looks like I haven't posted for years.
Sold my 2004 Supercab lariat 4x4 in the spring of 2021 and picked up a new 2021 Yukon Denali for my retirement truck, long story short what was I thinking, nice truck and all but no F 150. With the market being what it is I got what I paid for it and I traded it in for a 2022 F150 Platinum with the 3.5 eco boost. I love the 5.0 but wanted to stay away from the cylinder deactivation that is new for Ford this year. GM was having all sorts of issues on the 6.2 with that, another reason I traded it in.
After 5 or so months on order picked up at the end of June, which I am thinking is all right considering some of the wait times I am reading about on the higher end trucks.
The f 150 rides a lot better than the Yukon, seats more comfortable and may be even a bit quieter. My 2004 was a quiet truck also but this is next level for sure.
Fingers crossed this will be as good to me as my last two f 150's
