Whats up guys. Im new to the forum. So ill get to brass tax. My grandpa whom I called papa growing up bought this truck new in 2003. He always took good care of it and used it like a truck. He passed away in 2013 and since then I always told my grandma (gigi) that I wanted to buy it from her. Long story short in 2019 I sold my car and was going to buy a motorcycle. She said ill give you Papa's truck if you dont buy a bike. Its a 2003 F150 XLT flareside 2wd 163k on it. Sunroof still works and interior is a little rough. Front suspension creeks like nobodys business. It needs some things here and there but nothing crazy. Right now it just started throwing a p0473 code for TCC. So that and a trans flush are happening this weekend. I want to restore it and eventually make a sleeper or an ext cab lightning rep with it. Aesthetically I want to keep it stock with the exception of a lighting bumper w/fogs, maybe Im not sure on that one yet. And down the road I was thinking lighting motor and trans. Or upgrade the 4.6 thats in it but I dont know if the 4.6 is worth buying mods for. Thats where the forum comes in.
