New member in north dfw
Hi guys, joined for my newest project.
I picked up a 98 4.6 5 speed truck. Has motor issues but was recently rebuilt, supposedly with forged rods and pistons (we will see soon), plan is a 5.4 swap with a lightning blower.
I'm sure someone will point out that ford never put the M5OD behind the 5.4, especially with the blower, for a reason. I have had good experience with them with a good shifter (just sold my 02 5.0 5 speed ranger a couple of months ago).
