New (to me) 1998 F150

Hey everyone! I have been cruising around this forum for a while now but figured I would post up. My father-in-law gave me a very well taken care of 98 F150 XLT with a blown motor. So I sold my 2012 Fusion and had a shop swap out with a rebuilt 4.6. Then I replaced upper control arms, brake pads, rotors, fluid, hub bearings, sway bar links, and everything else that looked old and broken. While in there, leveled it out with some Rough Country 2" springs and threw on a new antenna as well as a bug guard. Plasti-diped the rims (to get me by for now) and painted the trim panels down the doors to match the paint.

Then a full detail and an alignment, I am a very happy first time truck owner!

Looking to lift it another 3" with spindles in the front and either a block or add a leaf in the rear (need to see how much it squats when loaded up with the dirt bikes and / or towing the boys' go-kart.) The reason I only went with the level was the 265/70/16's have only 2,000 miles and couldn't justify replacing them with bigger tires (yet).

I look forward to being a part of the F150 community!

My new(ish) truck!

I like what you did with the wheels. My '98 looks great except the wheels. I was planning to repaint them before giving it to my niece. I like your way better but it will her choice.
