So I've lurked quite a bit whenever I needed some help turning wrenches on my truck; but....
My name's Matt, medically retired out of the Army last year (11b), came back to my hometown and currently work as a Park Ranger. Got two young boys and an ex-wife that rivals that of Lucifer himself. Haha.
As far as my truck goes,
2001 Ford F150 Lariat SuperCrew 4x4
5.4L with K&N intake, BBK 75mm throttle body, Airaid spacer, ACCEL coils, Pacesetter long tube headers, Edge Evo CTS2, Supreme Suspension torsion key lift, 285/70r17 Super Swamper IROK ND.
I love it, but boy do I miss my old 1996 single cab with the 351w I built up for it. It's about to undergo some surgery while I'm swapping out tie rod ends and center link today for MOOG parts. Removing the front driveshaft and doctoring my CV's to retain the outers so I don't lose my hub/wheel while I give up the inner shafts. Sucks because I do not use my 4wd whatsoever, but that dreaded key lift destroyed the cv boots. So I figure I'll just make it a glorified 2wd with a transfer case.
Won't be able to buy a legitimate lift kit for a hot minute as this divorce was brutal to my bank account, but until that day comes it can just run like it'll be.
Nice to finally be able to post here instead of creep. Haha
