Hello im Michael, living in Washington state. Getting ready to get a '92 f-150 xlt extended cab short bed 2wd, 4.9 manual trans. Gonna slowly fix it up a bit it has 300, 000+ miles. So thinking of getting a 4.9 from a junkyard & rebuilding. Want reliability plus some better performance. Nothing outlandish, but dont want to be a slug either, lol. What a good direction to go & who would be good to talk to. Im not a rich person, so looking for fairly cheap, best bang for the buck ideas. Thanks for any & all advise.
