This is the first full sized pickup I've owned. It's a 1994 that I bought from the state surplus. Needs some fixin but I'm able. In my 60 years I thought I would never own a full size pickup, I've had lots and lots of little ones last being a 4x4 ranger . This truck actually gets 25 mpg. Who'd a thunk ? I love it already and only had it a week and a half. Fortunately I live in an area where there are lots and lots of parts and reasonable too. I also ride a ST1300 bought from the state of California. A fast one and comfortable too. So I've lucked out buying surplus vehicles. It's not that I can't buy a new one but trucks are meant to be trucks. I would scream if I bought a new truck and hauled dirt , rocks, and wood in a new one. I'm not into driving highway princesses. I bought ford because I've had many ford products in my time and like my Mercury cyclone I'm going to enjoy the heck outta this one. Work safely on your trucks and don't take chances. Get them highway princesses off the highway and get them dirty.
