Long time Ford fan. First car was a 1970 Torino and then I got into F150's. I've had dozens over the years...one of my favorites was a 79 flairside with a 460 and a 83 4X4 that I put well over 300,000 miles on.

Welcome! I myself have had 3 f150s and a ranger. Ranger was a 97 2.3L with a 5spd, f150s were 78 f150 custom 5.8L with a 4spd (first vehicle), an 04 heritage 4.2L V6 5spd, and an 08 4.2L V6 5spd. Loved my 08 and my 04 wasn't bad at all. I got the 78 with 255k on it and sold with 285k. Engine was still good past 300 but the frame broke. The guy I sold it to is my brother's father in law so I knew him.
