I can't wait to be in a truck again. My commute forced me into a high mpg car for the last 2.5 years and we've finally bought a house nearer to work. I've owned a 2008 Tundra Crewmax Ltd, Titan Crew, 2 Avalanches. This will be my first f150. I considered another Tundra, Sierra, and the F150 won out. I've never been a Ford guy, but the ecoboost engine really impressed me. It helped that I was able to find the color and option package I wanted in a very attractively priced 2014 FX4. I normally only keep my vehicles a few years, but now that I wont be killing it with miles, I'm hoping to own this for a long time.
Welcome and enjoy your new ride! If it's cheap to run and own, you might want to consider holding onto your little "econobox" for when the price of gas goes back up or the days when you don't want to pile the miles on your new baby.......

Welcome to the site and congrats on the rig, mrfols! Thanks for sharing the picture with us; it's quite the beauty!
My truck came in today and I'm really thrilled with it. I took 150 mile trip and am very pleased with the ride. A friend of mine tried to talk me into the Platinum for the ride quality and I can't see it being much better. Two things to note: 1. The Vehicle I traded was my wife's 2014 4runner Ltd that rode horribly compared to the F150 and 2. My daily driver was a Lexus es300Hybrid and this truck rides nearly as well and is way cooler!!
