Do have one question tho. I left the tune on the truck when I traded in. Can I wipe my sct x3 or can sct do it? And sct doesn't sell canned tunes with their tuners for my truck. It says I could load custom tunes from somewhere and there are locals but don't know if I'm willing to trust them yet with a tune. Basically do I have to buy a new x3 or can I load a tune for my truck on the old one after its wiped?

I'll look. I'm looking online at what the blackout adds and that's what it said.

Don't kill it with a K&N air filter, PLEASE. Leave it alone at least while it's on warranty.

According to autozone it's 9005 for low beams and H 11 for highs. I couldn't select the blackout option but the sports were still the same and they have the same headlights as mine.

I have never had any issues with filters in any of the 3 vehicles I've put them in and my girlfriend's ram we got one last year. No problems at all. Lol I just want some power back from being robbed at 6800 ft lol

Ok for sure now. Mine are 4 bulbs, so lows and highs on each side are split. So mine are 9005s and H11s

A K&N won't give you any power back. It might SEEM like it has more because of the extra noise.

I've always noticed either power or a little bit more mpgs with them usually like 1 mpg and at least with a manual, didn't have to downshift on some hills that I did before. Doesn't matter either way....plus it's cheaper in the long run.

Yep!!
The H9 has to be modified ever so slightly to fit onto the H11 plug but other than that it fits right in... And the 9011 will fit on the plug exactly the same but the base has to be trimmed in one spot and can be done with finger nail clips.. But other than that the filament on both are in the exact same spot so your optics won't change at all..

Tests have shown that K&N filters do not filter as well as the paper filters. Makes sense that a low restriction filter would filter out less dirt.

I've never had problems. I got one for my ram and mpgs went up. It's in eco mode a lot more now. I'd say 2 mpgs difference so far.

Is eco mode that same thing they used to call MDS? 4 of the 8 cylinders shutting down when cruising at a steady pace.
