FX4 on 37's in Kansas

Well, after building an 01 sport trac i soon realized that with 3 boys and all our toys we needed more room. So I set out to find a full sized f150 crew cab. After looking for a couple months i found this big rig. Unfortunately the previous owner didnt know ANYTHING about the truck. He was some high schooler, whom i guess had his parents buy this for him.

From what i've gathered its...

2004 f150 fx4
5.4L w/ automatic trans
177,000 miles
~6" fabtech suspension lift
~3" body lift
355/60/20" tires

The truck is in fantastic shape for its age/mileage. Has the grey leather interior inside of the Dark Shadow Grey exterior.

Right away, im replacing the worn out tires with something a little more aggressive. Today's "big" snow made me more aware of how 14" wide bald tires SUCK in the snow.

Not sure what tires to go with?!

Next on the agenda is going to be replacing the billet grill and chrome headlights with something blacked out. Leaning towards just painted black headlights with a black saleen grill. My current surround is cracked so i'll be replacing both at the same time.

I've already started pulling off all of the "walmart chrome" like the door handles, filler cap, mirrors, ect.

Once we have some nice weather i'll be doing a full paint correction/detail of the truck. I know i know, its a truck its made to be dirty. But i'd prefer starting this truck with a fresh slate, and then going from there.

Enough with the chit chat, here she is, in all her pride and glory!!

Nice looking ride. Good call on losing the chrome, and IMO going blacked out on the front end will really take it up a notch.

Maybe add a taller garage to the mods list?
