Package Preference

Hey guys,
Joined this forum because I plan on purchasing an F-150. I currently drive an 06 Mustang with some bolt-ons and tune. My question is: Have any of you had any trouble with the FX2 shifter? It's very appealing to me, and I'm curious about it.

The plan is to keep the pickup for a couple years and slap a whipple on it when I save up enough.

Thanks in advance!

I can't attach an image. The console shifter: P R N D 3 2 1

-it's not on the steering column in the FX2, King Ranch, and some Harley Davidsons I believe. The Roush, Saleen, and Nitemare pickups all have an FX2 base they build on top of. I'm curious as to whether there are any linkage or other issues with this option.

Thanks everyone
