Hello!! Newbie to F150
Hello!! Newbie to F150
Hi everyone!! I used to drive Rangers for work. They never let me down. Now in process of buying an 85 F150. Hope it pans out.
I do have questions concerning the truck and what to look out for when I take it to my garage this week.
Can I post them here, or should I start a new thread?

Just a history of sorts
Geeeeez , I'm a newbie ? 69 and a newbie . Well I guess I'll have to get used to it .
I've been a Commercial Fisherman Alaska style for over 30 years and sold out in 90' . I've seen a bunch and experienced a bunch , been pretty much all over the world , built a Marina Construction business and sold that 6 yrs later and retired sorta . Still do consulting but now have built two other business's . One is a Blueberry farm and the other is raising good Quarter Horse's and Arabians plus a cow or two or 6 .
Like being busy . Hunt a lot and that's where my 86' F-150 4.9 4x4 shines . It's the toughest little truck I've ever had and I've had several . 300K and still going very strong but now is a farm truck and expect to just keep on going with it . I have two other trucks both 3/4 , a Dodge diesel and a Ford 460 , both 4x4's but don't suspect they'll come close to this 4.9 . Pull a 30' gooseneck with it and also my Dodge (94) and this little ford will out pull it any day in the mtn.s but not on the flat .
Anyway this is the intro and I'm sticking to it ! Glad to be here , and yeah I'm looking for another with a good body as mine looks like it has 300K on it ! Every thing about my 86' is perfect , just doesn't look like it !
