New guy saying hello!

Hi All,

Finally got on board with my first F150 purchase!!! Found a beautiful 99 with only 40K miles on it, some TLC and some elbow grease and she's my gem!! Really glad to find this forum, such an awesome place to network and find information. Had the 99 intake gasket leak which is now fixed... think I have a coil going bad b/c it shudders a bit going up a hill from a standstill; but it is all a learning experience and I'm having a blast with it. Thanks for keeping up such a great resource for us new guys!!

That shudder could be a plug.

Thanks for the warm welcome. The new plugs went in when the heads/gaskets were fixed and the shop said they used motorcraft. It's barely noticeable so maybe I'll hook it up to see if there is a code or a cylinder miss. Might just be my imagination. I have a set of 8 COPs on the way regardless. Probably going to need them sooner or later. Thanks again!!
