New To Site.
Just bought an 04 F150 XLT 4x4 5.4 from a salvage yard with a bad motor. Right valve cover, Spark plugs and four rockers from 3 and 4 cylinders were already removed and the guys said they couldn't get it running. So I bought it with intentions of putting in a different motor. While doing some research I came across this site with the thread started by s vares. Upon further inspection I can see that the cam phaser is misaligned to the sprocket and the plastic guide for the chain is all broken up. Gonna pull the front cover off and see what I find. Maybee with a little luck theirs life left in this engine. Well see.
