Hello to all the great members on this great resource! My history is with euro cars and electronics repair but my new job is to maintain 20 f series trucks, 25 farm tractors and lots of other farm equipment. With much help from this forum I removed the 4.6 from a 97 f150 and installed a 5.4 in its place. I am shure the experienced members here will help me gain the knowledge my boss thinks I already have about f series trucks. I look forward to all I can get from and give to the group. Speaking of getting, I have a sct x2 programmer but no file to load in the above mentioned 97 f150. It runs well but I think it would be better with the 'puter flashed. If any member has the tune for an all stock 4.6 to 5.4 swapped truck they would be willing to share I would be forever grateful.

Iron range? You say that like the mesabbi range is the only one in mn. I work at the sd border but I live just north of Crosby, in the BEST iron range(cyuna) in mn. LOL.. Some in Crosby really have a complex about the fact that the mesabbi(sp?) gets all of the attention. I have lived in both of them so I am not sensitive like them. To you and all of the other welcoming members, thank you for making me feel at home.

Welcome! My mom's whole family is from Dawson, where my grandparents still live. Beautiful area, big farms, and nice people. You'll love it.

The Mesabi Range gets the recognition because they are still producing, whereas the Cayuna range just provides nice biking/atv/snowmobile trails around all the closed mines.

 

Lol....nice to see some people know there's more than one........most people get confused.....though its better than telling people I live in the minnesota Appalachia
