Hello from New Orleans, first Ill say this is not my first FX2, the last one I had was a loaded 2008 Red FX2. Anyways I just traded in my 2012 Mustang 5.0 for a new 2013 FX2 5.0 Ingot Silver, in the end I just needed more space and have always had truck.

First mod so far was the black/red F150 badges from the FX Appearance package, I found a 3pc set on eBay for $129.00

Next mod I'm thinking of is the Roush CAI and Roush exhaust. I here a lot of others on the forum that have the Roush exhaust and there are complaints of drone in the cabin. On my 2012 Mustang I had Roush exhaust on and I had ZERO drone and loved the sound and so did everyone else.

Anyways here are a few pics of the new truck. If anyone has any thoughts and on the Roush CAI and exhaust post up.

I have a Roush catback on my 2006 5.4 and I love how it sounds. These 5.0's sound awesome with just about anything though, IMO at least. The Roush is a Borla muffler too. I'm not one who really cares about drone, but I have the "offroad" version and I never was annoyed by any drone

 

 

Love the truck bro, AND the area! I was born and raised there till I was 8. The wife and I actually went and spent a week there last winter and caught the Saints season finale. Stayed over in the Garden district. Loved it. We try to go back every year, if possible. Had to comment when I saw the backdrop in the pics. It instantly took me back.

Take care of that beauty on those rough roads and tight parking spots!

In regards to the Roush exhaust, stellar sounding system. I swear, I am very very disappointed in the users on here who haven't tried it. It really is a hell of a sounding system. I prefer loud exhausts and it is a bit too quiet for me...AKA it's too loud for most drivers lol. I'm the type that wants LT's I know there's a massive thread on another forum, they swapped in mbrp resonators iirc. You can't go wrong with it, and I have only heard my brothers, never seen another around.

Just for those who don't know the volume of it, my Roush off road with 2 94106 converters is quieter. It's deep as hell and with the 6sp tranny, the 3 to 1 kickdown it does coming to a stop is so sexy. Reminds me of a DOHC 4v 4.6 at times.

 

I'm sure within 6 months or so I'll have the Roush exhaust installed but for now I'll just enjoy the smooth quite sound for now.

I have the Roush Off Road Catback on my 07 5.4 and love it! I'm thinking about putting on Hi-Flow cats to make it a little louder but I would say that would provide a little drone in the cab
